Hello, you.

Welcome to my blog. I'm currently trying to brunch & blog my way through life, friendships, love, a career and everything else in between. Hope you enjoy reading through my brilliantly random ramblings.

Milan - Where we stayed.

Oh, hello! It's been quite some time since I posted on this blog - there's quite a lot going on 'behind the scenes' at the mo and I guess I've just been feeling a little overwhelmed. I've been spending my time partly just trying to get through everyday, and partly focusing on spending quality time with some of my favourite people, and those friends that just make you feel good and happy when you're with them, as this is something that I've realised is so, so important.

A few weeks ago - someone who I can only describe as the most genuine, kind-hearted, and amazing friend, told me they were going to run away to Milan with me for a few days to escape everything and cheer me up and I've never felt so overwhelmed by someone's kindness before.

Needless to say, it was it was very much needed and we had the most amazing time. Be prepared for quite the influx of Milan photos over the next few weeks because I took MILLIONS. I'll tell you all about what we got up to in a later post, but for now, I wanted to show you our Air BnB apartment because it was just gorgeous.

When searching for somewhere to stay in Milan, we didn't really have any requirements as such. All we needed were 2 beds, somewhere clean and somewhere that was easy to get to from the airport and into the centre of Milan.

And then, we found this. It is hosted by the loveliest couple called Olga & Max, who are so, so friendly. They'll make you feel welcome, give you all of their tips as to what you should see, tell you how to get around the city, and they provide quite literally everything you could possibly need for a few days. I'm not even joking, we could've turned up with no luggage and we'd have been fine.

As well as all of the essentials, there was shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, cotton buds, shower gel, vaseline and moisturiser in the bathroom. There was a full kitchen complete with a microwave, washing machine AND a coffee maker. There were two smart TV's (complete with Spotify & Netflix), two sound systems as well as books to read if we wanted.

The apartment is located in Turro, which is just north east of the city centre and takes just 15 minutes to get to Duomo on the Metro. I don't think I could rave about this apartment enough - and the best bit is that it's super cheap for what you get! It cost about £50 per night to stay in Max & Olga's apartment, which I think you'll agree, is pretty fabulous.

I've added a link to their Air BnB at the bottom of the post if any you guys are heading to Milan and are looking for somewhere to stay. But for now, here are a few more photos...
