Sophie Rosie

Hello, you.

Welcome to my blog. I write about life, career & work, fashion & style, as well as hopefully providing some inspiration to achieve some of your goals too! Enjoy xx

A Spring fashion wish-list.

A Spring fashion wish-list.

I ~adore~ the winter months. I love that it brings Christmas, but I also love the winter fashion that comes along with it. I love getting all wrapped up in a cosy jumper and a scarf and my big coat. I think I just love that 'snuggliness' that comes with wearing your favourite jumper. HOWEVER, I have to admit that I have been secretly spring-shopping for a few weeks now, and the thing that triggered this re-found lust for all things light and floral was this embroidered floral shift dress at number2. I spotted it on Angela's blog and I've literally just been waiting for payday so that I can treat myself to it! I can't wait to not have to wear black tights with all of my dresses anymore, and while we're still a fair way from bare-leg weather, these two midi dresses from Warehouse at 1 and 3 below will make the perfect transition pieces. They'll still be light and spring-like, but still long enough for you to ditch the tights (and not have to go to the effort of shaving all of your legs still, either! ;) ) And then can we just talk about those polkadot heels at number 4?! I literally would have zero places to wear them to, but look how cute they are! They'd actually go really well with that black dress at number 11, now I think about it. I picked this dress as it would be perfect for work - it looks smart, but it's still elegant and would still give me that lady-like feeling I love when wearing any kind of dress. In case you can't also tell, I love anything and everything floral, and this Warehouse dress at number 6 (yes, it's the same print as number 1 but I adore it 😍)  would go perfectly with these light grey trainers, too. I love pairing dresses with trainers or my converse - I don't know why but this combo always makes me instantly feel about 34x cooler.  And lastly, but by no means my least favourite - this beaut pair of vintage dungarees. I am yet to find a pair of dungarees that fit me properly and suit my body shape, but hey, maybe these are the ones?

What do you think of these? What would be on your Spring Wishlist?
