My week in square photo's & 140 characters. Ep. 2

Happy Sunday, folks!

The recent Instagram I posted of these beaut Ego boots has been my most popular post to date, so this had to come first! You guys seemed to have fallen for these boots as quickly as I did when I spotted them on the site, so a huge thank you to the Ego girls for sending them over to me. I'm still swooning over them!

The fact that they're slightly heeled may also come in handy, as this happened this week..

I'm pretty lucky to have a job that's super flexible. As long as I have my laptop and a good wifi connection, I can work from anywhere. Which is why I get to work from a lot. And if there's one bonus to working from home, its being able to go & try out all of the different coffee shops in the city when I need a change of location!

Speaking of work & coffee, looks like my boss had a similar idea, and left this for me before he went on holiday for a few days this week! Thankfully, the to-do list wasn't as long or as stressful as I'd first thought, and everything was just fine!
I also made the most of working from Liverpool all day and booked myself in for an impromptu hair appointment on Tuesday lunchtime. After attending a blog event at Sassoon a couple of months ago, I knew I had to go back, as the guys there were just so amazing.

I wanted to add a little bit of colour to my hair, but without bleaching it, if possible. The colourist recommended this chestnut ombre, to lift the bottom of hair subtly, without it being too drastic. I absolutely love it, even though it's not too noticeable, and my hair feels so much healthier!

The rest of Tuesday was also super productive...
Even if I did feel like this by the end of it. (Apologies in advance if this is too TMI. But y'know me, I like to tweet my life. ;) )

My new flatmate moved in last week, and so I took Harriet to the best place for breakfast in Liverpool, where we chatted our way through the most delicious pancakes. We then had a little walk around town, including this cute little street tucked away in the centre of the city, that always reminds me of Diagon Alley!

We then spent Saturday afternoon shopping, and I spotted these incredible Valentino dupes in Dune for only £60! I know. Unfortunately, they're out of stock everywhere in my size, in both the heels & the flat versions, which did break my heart a little, 'cause just look at them!

I spent a little time re-reading some of my old posts from last year and the beginning of this one. I found this where I set myself some blog goals for 2016 at the beginning of January. In this post, I wrote how I hoped to get to 5k followers on Instagram by the end of the year, which must've meant I was still quite a way off. And well..

It's things like this that really give me the motivation when my blogging inspo is a little down. Who says looking back is a bad thing, huh?
