Friends; your voices of reason when you need them.
I think I've mentioned this before, but I genuinely have some of the best people around me. I have incredible friends, both online and offline. Those kinda people where when you first meet or get chatting, you just kinda 'get' each other. You don't have to be around them all the time for them to be there for you, and you can literally tell them anything and they won't judge.
They're the ones you go to when you can't work out whether the guy you're texting actually likes you or is messing you around. They're the ones whose opinion you need on ALL major life decisions... like whether or not those really amazing unicorn shoes are justifiable or not. They're there to remind you how awesome you are, and they're your voices of reason when you really need them to pick you back up when life gets a little too much.
THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE THAT MAKE YOU LAUGH A LITTLE LOUDER, SMILE A LITTLE BIGGER, AND LIVE JUST A LITTLE BIT BETTER.
I've always believed that you need an amazing support network around you. It doesn't necessarily have to be a big one, just one that you know you can count on.
Without mine, I'm not sure where I'd be. They've given me the best advice when I've needed it the most, even if it's just them telling me the harsh reality of a situation, because sometimes that's exactly what I've needed to hear and no one else would've felt they could say it. They've been able to think clearly for me when my head's been a mess, and they've been my life 'cheerleaders' when I've been feeling down.
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU HAVE IN LIFE, IT'S WHO YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE THAT MATTERS THE MOST.
They've been there ready, with tea, cake, pizza and all of the crap movies when I've needed distracting without me even asking, and I can only hope that I've been there for my friends too, in hope of repaying them just a little for making me smile and laugh on a daily basis.
I'm not really sure what the point of this post was meant to be, but I guess I just wanted a reminder of how amazing some of the people in your life can be, without them really realizing it.
