Hiya. Don't you just love it when the sun's out? Instantly puts you in a better mood, right? It also makes me super excited for our holiday which is less than 6 weeks away and omg I genuinely can't wait for some super warm sun, and the chance to literally do nothing for a whole 7 days. The only thing I'm not so excited about is the flight. Cause this happened last time.
ANYWHO. Completely off topic there. Soz. It feels like Winter is finally well and truly behind us now. The days are getting ever so slightly warmer, and I really enjoy the arrival of new seasons, mainly because it gives me an excuse to overhaul my wardrobe... again. One evening this week, I ran into town because I realised I needed some nude tights to wear with one of my dresses. However, in doing so, I somehow managed to return back to the flat with an additional 3 shirts and a dress. Whoops. BUT, this shirt was one of them, and I absolutely love it.
I love that it's slightly oversized, meaning that it's not restrictive and it's really comfortable to wear. The short sleeves also give it that little bit more of a summer vibe than my other, longer ones.
I've paired my shirt with my black, skinny jeans, and these beautiful new shoes from New Look. (We're going to forget that I originally bought these shoes for holiday, and pretend that I did not wear them before we got there... basically, that was my excuse for buying them!) Again, they're perfect for spring and summer, and even though they've got a chunky heel, the platform on the front means that they're pretty much flat. So, once you've worn the straps in a little, they shouldn't kill your feet!
I picked this shirt up in Primark, at the grand price of just £10. This was probably one of the reasons I didn't feel guilty at buying another 2 very similar shirts cause in my head it was like 3 for the price of 1... yeah? Alright, don't look at me like that. I know I don't need all three but I definitely do at the same time. I like clothes...!
Are you enjoying dressing for the new season?
