Edinburgh.

Work trips. Most of the time they're long & boring, right? Yes. I completely agree. However, when my boss uttered the words 'do you want to go and visit our Edinburgh station, Soph?' last week, it took me about 0.0006784 seconds to agree. I was desperate to try and see as much of the city as possible. Before Tuesday, I'd never been any further north than The Lake District, so I'd been looking forward to it for weeks! Amazingly, the weather was absolutely beautiful, which made this beautiful city even more wonderful to explore.

I spent about 4 hours just walking round the city after work, just myself and my camera. There was something just so relaxing and calming about being able to explore a brand new city all by yourself, and I absolutely loved it! I'm not sure I need to put many more words to this post, so I'm just going to leave it as a photo diary, but even the photo's don't quite do this city justice. I'm so determined to head back here for a proper visit!

Have you ever visited Edinburgh?

Soph

  6. Looks like you had the best bits of Edinburgh all on here ;-) yes I've been but it's almost 1.5 years ago now (which seems so long ago!!!) and I also absolutely loved it! I spent four days walking around and wandering through both the new and old bits of town - popped into the museums and trying out cafes... yeeees! Would love to travel the greater Scotland too but alas I cannot drive LOL
