Finding something that makes you happy & confident is key. Particularly in your early twenties, when you're supposed to be 'finding yourself' and all that, right? I mean, we're all pretty much just blundering through life anyway, attempting to be successful at something and not running out of money before pay day and trying to resist ringing your Mum to ask whether that grey jumper goes in a black or a white wash. But, all the time, we're trying to be happy.

I think I'm happy, right now. Sure, there's a few things that I'd love to change and a few things that I'm trying to let go of, but, I'm happy.

I have a job that I'm loving and I work somewhere that is just, well, fun.
I have a lovely little flat in a beautiful city and I have a car in my favourite colour.
I have the best and loveliest friends that a girl could ask for and I'm lucky to have found a flatmate who knows the importance of making sure your Instagram feed is bang on. (See here.)

I also talk here about how I'm finding body confidence, but actually, I'm slowly starting to find confidence in me, too. Which is a strange thing for me to admit and something that I never, ever thought I would. And with this new found confidence, I think I'm happy.

I have blogging to thank for a lot of this. It's made me happy and it's made me confident. It's also enabled me to find so many inspirational ladies. Ladies that I now look up to, and who have blogs, and lives, and characters that are so aspirational that they make me want to work so damn hard, both on my blog and in my personal life.

We're officially now in Spring, which means the dark mornings and nights will soon be a thing of the past for a good six months, we can finally start looking for the sunshine and the pretty flowers and tree's that are coming in to bloom.

I can't wait for summer, for all the bright colours we can start to wear, and that feeling of warmth on your shoulders, and waking up to the sun streaming through your bedroom window at the weekends.

I felt happy today. So, I put on my blue jeans instead of my black ones, cause they're that little bit less winter-ish, right? This oversized white shirt and of course, my go-to red lipstick. The sun was out and I just smiled to myself. I tried to capture this feeling in these photo's, but I'm not sure you can ever capture exactly how you're feeling.

I'm happy and I'm content. And I'm thankful that I've got so many aspirations and maybe one-day I can inspire someone else. Maybe.
