Happy Sunday guys! How are we all feeling today?
This week has been another super hectic one, with me actually spending a fair bit of my time across the m62 in Manchester. I have a love/hate relationship with Manchester. I mean, its an awesome city, but I ALWAYS get lost. I genuinely don't know what it is about it but I just can never, ever get my bearings! Oh well, I guess that's all part of the fun!
I'm gonna take a bit of a different slant on this weeks TIGF post, 'cause well, you'll see in a sec..
Coffee dates with Rebecca. Rebecca has recently moved back up North, and we've chatted on Twitter for a while, but, with geographical restrictions always getting in the way up until now, we've never actually met. Rebecca was in Liverpool on Saturday, so obviously we arranged a coffee date and it was just so lovely to finally meet her! It was one of those meetings where we literally just chatted and chatted, and it didn't at all feel like we'd only just met. Then, with me being over in Manchester on Wednesday, we quickly arranged another impromptu few hours in the cutest little cafe over macaroni cheese and a cup of tea in Manchester. Aren't we lucky! ;)
Lunch with Robowecop. One day this week, Rhi was over here in Liverpool for work, and Rhi being one of my closest blogging buds, we naturally decided to go for lunch cause omg we haven't seen each other in a good 2 months. After a little bit of um, a fiasco, in the morning, and not entirely being sure whether we were gonna make it, we found each other at Lime Street, and headed up to Leaf on Bold Street for some (well deserved on Rhi's part) lunch and tea! It was so great being able to catch up with Rhi, I'd forgotten just how much she makes me laugh.
(Another) coffee with Holly. The initial reason I ended up across the m62 on Wednesday and in Manchester, was because Holly and I had finally managed to arrange a catch up over coffee. As it was, I then ended up having dinner with an ex-colleague and then tea with Rebecca, so all in all, Wednesday was a good day! Holly is a relatively local blogger, so how we'd not managed to arrange this previously is a miracle, but seriously, if you don't already follow this girls blog, you need to. She's one of my favourites and I think she's just fabulous! The few hours we spent chatting away in the corner of a coffee shop were as lovely as I expected, and you'd have never have guessed that we'd only known each other online previously!
If you ask anyone what the best thing about the blogging community is, I can guarantee that most will say 'the people', right? 'Cause that's definitely one of my favourite things about this whole blogging game. I have made so many wonderful friends over the last 15 months, and I love being able to meet so many, and have online friendships develop into IRL friendships too.
Hopefully, I'll get to continue to meet many more lovely people through blogging, there's so many of you that I would love to meet! Hopefully, we might bump into each other, soon!
