My 2016 blogging 'to-do' list.

Alright, I know I'm about 2 weeks late with this, and you're all probs totally fed up of seeing this kinda post. But um, well, tough. 'Cause I forgot to schedule it on time so you can all have it now. Soz.

I've decided to have a 'to-do' list for 2016, rather than a set of resolutions or goals, in order to motivate myself a little more, and, mostly, for that incredible sense of achievement you get when you cross things off one of your many lists that we all have lying around.

Or stuck around, if you're me. I have sticky notes stuck to my wall to remind me to do stuff. Surprisingly useful technique!

While I think I'm going to keep my personal 'to-do' list to myself, I thought I'd share my blogging list with you guys, if only to keep myself motivated by the fact that you all now know. And, tbh I do tend to lose the sticky notes...

1. Before we even start, this one may be a little ambitious for me, but I'd love to try and get content up here at least 3 times a week, and if I'm feeling extremely organised, to try and get some sort of schedule going too. But we'll see how the first bit goes first...

2. One of my 'categories' for my blog is health, although I haven't exactly posted much to this yet. So, I'm going to incorporate more posts relating to healthy eating and fitness, and hopefully this will mean that I'll actually get back to the gym for the 5th time in 12 months. Here's hoping.

3. Get into a routine of scheduling tweets. This is something that I've yet to even really get started on, but I know how much good, and how much less hassle it can be, to schedule tweets ahead of the next few days. So I'm going to schedule in time to schedule some tweets!

4. Reach 5k on Twitter and Instagram, and 2k on Bloglovin. Social media is the highest traffic driver for my blog, so growing my following on here will hopefully boost my blog stats a little more. The bloglovin' goal is definitely super, super ambitious, but hey, I'm gonna give it a go! (If you wanna help a gal out, you can do so here ---> Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin) Sorry. Had to get those in there. ;)

5. This one, now this one is a bit of a whacky one, and is probably gonna be lingering on my list, un-ticked forever. BUT I'd love to one day be someone's favourite blogger (Dad, you don't count). How awesome would it be to hear that someone really, really loves what you do? I have so many blogs that I check daily, and I always wonder if one day one of those blogs could be mine for someone else! I use this thought to motivate me to constantly work on my content, writing, photography, and everything else that goes along with blogging on a daily basis!

So, there we go! My blogging to-do list for 2016. What's on your list?
Although tbh I've probably already read all of your posts. So maybe link me your post instead?

  2. A to-do list is far better than resolutions and I have every faith in you that you'll tick these off easily! I definitely would love more followers on social media too but if it doesn't happen, I'll get over it ;) xx

  4. I've never considered that people actually read my blog, so to be told you're someone's favourite blog, I can't imagine how insanely amazing that would feel! You're definitely one of my favourite blogs to read though!

  6. I love that you haven't set goals that are so ambitious that it wouldn't be likely that you'd achieve and you have set goals that are personal to you and are not just something that every person and their dog puts x

  9. I like this to do list! And so what if it's ambitious? No point having one if it's easy ;)
