A couple of months ago, I vowed to myself that I was going to create a capsule wardrobe, in a bid to try and be all organised and chic and so that my wardrobe would totally be Instagram ready were anyone to open it to take a photo... cause that totally happens. Not.
Safe to say, the 'capsule' part of that plan didn't really work out. I still have far too many clothes, so maybe I should add that to this years to-do list. But we'll see 'bout that. What I have kinda stuck to though, is only buying clothes that I know are going to be versatile. Like this shirt that I found lurking around in New Look.
The monochrome design is what first caught my eye, but I also love that although it's a casual piece, worn with heels, you could definitely rock it going out if you wanted. I've worn it with heels here, but only because I fancied wapping them out for a change. Most of the time you'll see me in casual dress cause my days of going 'out out' started and stopped at 18. I'm deffs more of a Netflix and chocolate on the sofa gal when it comes to my Saturday evenings. Wild. I know.
As with most of my outfits during the winter months, my camel coat is the first thing that I reach for if I'm heading anywhere outdoors, and I love that it makes almost any outfit look that little bit more elegant and 'put together'. And, as always, my red lipstick and trusty Daniel Wellington are the other two accessories that I very rarely leave without.
It feels like it's been so long since I've done an outfit post and I totally forgot how much fun they are!
