Can you guess where and when these photo's were taken? No? I'll give you a clue. It might have been here...
For me, I'm definitely not a 'dress girl'. I'll wear them for work but that's as far as I'll go. And to be fair, even getting me in one for work took some time. I don't know why, but I've just never been one to head straight for the dress section in a fashion shop. I was one of the girls who would opt for trousers in school, and at this point in my life it was because I was extremely self conscious, and if I could hide my legs, I would.
I guess it's just kinda carried on from there really, and I'm soooo much more comfortable in a pair of jeans. I would much rather dress up a pair of jeans with a lovely top and heels, than head out in a dress or a skirt.
I'd been on the on hunt for some ripped jeans for ages when I came across these in Topshop. I love these because for me, they're just the right amount of 'skinny', they're not too tight that I can't sit down, but they're not too loose that they sag! Oh that sounds daft, but you get what I mean! I'm also feeling the right amount of rips in these too, I don't actually need a pair of clear tights on underneath these just to keep my legs warm from this Great British weather!
For once, I've actually chosen to roll the bottom of these jeans up, and not been forced to because y'know, petite girl probs. I actually really love the colour contrast of just turning the bottom up a little, and I think it adds a little bit more detail to the jeans! (Even if I do have to remember to shave the bottom of my legs now...)
This lovely lace top is also from Topshop, and the shoulders are elasticated so I think it's meant to be worn off the shoulder. Which is great as long as you don't have to move your arms too much. So I, personally wear it either way! I love lace, and I love the cut of this top and the way it hangs. You can't really see too much of the lace detail on these photo's but it's so flippin' cute!
Where would I be without my beloved Daniel Wellington watch!? And these lovely black courts from H&M. I wear these things everywhere. Whether it be when I'm going out, for work, or if I simply just wanna dress up some jeans for a meal out in the city.
You cannot go wrong with a pair of black courts.
This is probably one of my favourite outfits that I've got in my wardrobe, simply because it's so versatile, and I think you could probably get away with wearing it for most occasions! Do you guys have a favourite outfit?
