Hello, you! I'm Soph - a 22 year old girl currently living in Liverpool, spending most of her time writing, taking photo's, drinking coffee & trying not to eat too much cake.

Pack it up with George*

...yes I mean George at Asda. Unfortunately no lovely man named George has come to whisk me away to Paris just yet. Yet.

Sooooo way back last month, the lovely people at Talented Talkers got in contact with me to see if I was going away this summer and if I was in need of some luggage to help me on my way.

I don't know about you but I am ALWAYS in need of luggage. There's always somewhere I'm heading off to and convincing myself that I just  don't have the right bag to take with me. Whether it's working away for a week with work, heading off for a very much needed break in the sun, or events such as this long weekends #bloggersleepover (separate blog post to come... promise!), there's so many different things I need to take with me depending on where to go. So when it came to choosing the right luggage, needless to say, it took me a while.

In the end I opted for this gorgeous blue medium sized suitcase. This suitcase has a hard shell, meaning that you don't have to worry about anything getting damaged en-route to wherever your destination may be. And, it looks good. What more could you want?
Well... aside from it also being expandable meaning you can squeeze in a couple of more of those all important shoes, it also has 4 wheels. I've never had a suitcase with 4 wheels before and its SO easy to pull along in whatever direction, meaning that you don't have to struggle trying to change direction or squeeze in between your parked car and the convertible that decided it was a good idea to see how close it could get...

I also went for this lovely holdall because who wouldn't want a cream and brown preppy looking bag? Its rather photogenic too. Bonus.

What I love the most about both of these items is how spacious and just how much you can fit into both. The holdall is the perfect size for a long weekend away, with ample space to fit all of your shoes, clothes and toiletries.

The suitcase has two fabulous compartments. I, personally use one of them for my clothes and whatever other crap useful stuff I think I need, while I use the other, zip-up part to hold my laptop and chargers. Not only does this keep everything wonderfully organised, but it also means that my laptop bag is one less bag I need to carry round with me. Because, lets face it, you're gonna need to carry your handbag too. TOO MANY BAGS AND TOO LESS HANDS. That didn't even make sense but you get my drift...

I genuinely take either or both of these with me now most places that I go, and I love them. They're both light to carry round and I genuinely just adore the colours of both! You can get both of these in different colours, as well as absolutely LOADS of other suitcases in LOADS of different sizes. If you fancy checking out George at Asda's luggage section, you can have a look here!

  1. I absolutely LOVE that suitcase. I have the super light cases right now but really want to switch over to hard cases. They don't look so awful if they aren't full!

  5. The holdall looks absolutely perfect, I always look for the perfect one for when I'm rallying between university and home (I can't stay away from home for too long) and you're right it really is such a photogenic bag! I also love the colour of the suit case, it's great that it has a place for your electronics and wires (I'm always looking for them after packing and finding them in all my clothes) you picked some great luggage there :)
